Bloging 10,00 feet in the air...

I am currently listening to the screams of an infant Indian baby in the seat in front of me.  I just may lose my mind.  It is 4:16am London time, 11:16pm DC time, 10:16pm Jackson time, and there are approximately 2 hours and 13 minutes left in the duration of this flight.  Oh how sweet the sight and smell of land will be when that time is up.  Now do not think that for one second I am not having a good time.  Pat and I are closer friends then we have ever been before…literally.  At least Pat took a shower this morning… unlike his companion to the right.  I am not tired and good thing to cause sleep is out of the question (I already tried).  I am not even hungry, I had a piece of pizza before boarding the plan and the Kick Kat bar, salad, roll, and cheese cake should hold me over till the next exquisite dining event.  And who said I did not have a well-rounded palate?  Well I guess that is just something that I will have to get used to for a bit.  Anyhow the trip really is not that bad.  I am for the most part comfortable, my luggage is hopefully nestled nicely below my feet and I am soon to be in a fascinating city.  Just the thought of the time to come is diverting enough.  I would like to extend my thoughts to all that are back in the states.  If I did not get the chance to properly say goodbye to any of you I do apologize and look forward to communicating in some manner with you over the next few months.  I want to share my experience with you as well as hear how each of you are doing throughout the semester.  On a different note, Pat and I should have a video documentary up soon.  We look forward to adding to this blog in new ways and hope you enjoy all that we have to say.  Back to the present.  These planes have really cool little TV things in the headrest in front of you.  Pat and I have enjoyed them very much.  Pat is currently watching “Eagle Eye” while I am watching “Appaloosa”.  Earlier I watched, “The Duchess” starring Keira Knightley.  It was very enjoyable and I am happy I did not live in that time period, but I do very much want a powdered wig and finding one will be on my to-do list while in London, along with one of those big fuzzy hats the royal guards wear.  I will leave it at that for now.  Only 1 hour and 44 minutes to go!  I look forward to landing, getting to our house, and sleeping for the first few hours of our stay in London City.  Oh, Pat and I suggest that anyone who wishes to travel British Air, do so with an upgraded seat.  It will most likely be worth the money.  He and I did enjoy our stewardess.  This guy may have been ex-military and he was ready to smack the baby and the father in front of us.  FYI, he and I will be traveling the same way back in 5 months…gives us something to look forward to.
